The Park Condominium Jomtien seems to have two buildings finished ( looking from the outside ) ,and one building a shell ( for around 2 years now ) .They have a sighn outside saying ''buy now ,ready to move in '' Has anyone moved in to a condo there yet ?

This is not to be confused with Park Lane which is almost finished ( will be finished in October ahead of schedule )

I thought they were too after some members used it to slag other area condo developments and belittle those buyers. I believe some even shamelessly promoted the Park and used the opportunity to rent out their unit. Just sayin.

^Pity as what I read it was actually providing useful info on status of the work and the latest information from the developer.

I don't have any interest in the place except that a mate has purchased a unit and the thread was useful for him to keep updated as he's away working and doesn't get back here often.

A bit like the Suan Sawan thread that was started about the same time.

Is your friends unit in one of the blocks that look completed from outside or in the shell building ?

I was there last month and there were already a handful of owners living there. Also saw some furniture and beds being moved in. I think the chanotes were supposed to come this month. They were also paving the front entrance and car park. Security guard at desk and elevators working. One pool in place and looks nicely landscaped.

I'm looking at moving in next month, but Ive been looking at moving in next month for nearly 10 months now! Anyway building A is almost completed. Some of the lower floor units require a little work i.e.completion of bathroom(s) final painting and cleaning. Get your mate to ring Khun Kate +66 (0)38 303-871-4

Ok here is the latest as I know it from the project manager. There will be a meeting this week between the Park construction company and the bank. This meeting is primarily to discuss the handing over of the Building "A" condominiums to their owners. The secondary agenda will be the release of further funding for Building "B" which should be authorized once the final payments start coming in for the Building A units. That is all I know right now, I will post any further developments as I have been told that I will be able to move in within the next couple of months.

Now that building A is completed, or very nearly I should think that they will continue with Building B. At least you have an interest in building B & not building C, or you would be waiting a long long time my friend! Even if work resumes tomorrow I wouldnt think that building B would be completed and handed over by this time next year. Anyway I will keep you posted!

I went down to the Park condominium this morning to check on the progress of my completed unit in Building A. The title deeds are being dealt with in blocks, what these blocks are I don't know! The management anticipate that all the title deeds will be issued before Christmas. Once building A has been transferred to its owners the bank will release further funding to re start the construction on Building B. Again the management anticipate construction restarting on Building B in January 2011. Sorry that's the best I can do at the moment. If anyone needs the E mail address to the Project Manager then please PM me, and I will gladly pass it on . . . .

The title deeds to the Building A units will be handed over to the owners at the land office on the 2nd December

The latest schedule has building A's transfer of title deeds on the 31st Jan 2011. Letter from their solicitors instructed all buyers to complete an inspection of their units by 15 Jan 2011. Personally as an owner of one of the apartments I cant see that happening, just like the previous intended transfer date of Dec 20th 2010. I inspected my unit on that day and it was a long way off being acceptable!! I might be pleasantly surprised but after dealing and being let down by this developer on countless occasions I doubt that very much!! Building B will apparently proceed once building A is fully transferred to its clients. . . . . . . . . . . . ?

And Jraff,you still smell the roses or do you realise already that is actually a different flavor that comes out of this project and the one from the same constructor on which you lost spent your hard earned money.

The transfer date of the 31 st Dec was canceled once again! No new date has been proposed. There are already a handful of people living in Building A, and they have been for quite a long period now. I was talking to a guy there on Wednesday who has been living in his unit on the 5th floor for over a year now.

So as it stands still no transfer of the title deeds to anybody as yet. But the option has been in place for some time to enable buyers to live in their apartments if completed, the problem is many apartments arent completed . . .
