hi,

Do you know where i could find now the Thai pillow and mattress triangle shape called "Mon Kwang" ?

It's the kind of pillow bed that you can find on the beach everywhere in Thailand.

I guess they have it at CHATUCHAK market but where exactly, and who has bought it lately ?

Maybe an easier access shop around Pattaya or Bangkok ?

(maybe OTOP has it but i don't know where to buy Otop in Bkk or Pattaya, and Otop is usually too expensive, right ?)

You can get them in MBK. Bargain them down from 1500B to about 900B for the three layer matress type, or if you go to Jatujak market you can find the exact same thing for about 600B.

We brought ours in MBK before I found them at Jatujak!

I went to several "bedding shops" all over BKK when I was buying a bed in fact, and was looking for these "Mon Kwangs" at the same time but never found any in any of these shops. Only in markets as they are handmade.

And what is the "real" non-tourist price then?

Don't be so coy, if you know something then share your knowledge. That was the point of this thread, right?
