No its not that type of posting ;)

The bitch in question is the house dog. A Black Labrador cross that has been here since I moved in. For the last week she has been down at the Thai labourers compound at the bottom of the mountain. Even a BBQ chicken failed to get her back up the mountain. She was well fed and got a walk around the mountain every morning. The rest of the time she took care of the house. Anybody came down the drive the two dogs used to bark but were never aggressive, just doing their jobs. Do you think it is the attention she is getting down there ? I know by talking to them they just give her the scraps they leave unlike here where she was well fed ? Maybe just too lazy to hike back up the mountain. She is a bit of a fatty now. :o

I will give her another week and if still not back look for another. That's bitches for ya ;)

:( Better to rent one, just like a house. Bitches too, have a midlife crisis and often turn gay ! Edited by crusty

I've heard that too :(

But that said, maybe your dog likes Thai food better. Try tempting her home with fried chicken :P

and be grateful she wasn't dognapped like Sheryl's little dog :(

I still see her when I go out as she is just at the bottom of the mountain but can't get the lazy git to make it back up the mountain. As said she has a week to get her sad sorry ass back or she can stay down the mountain. :D

Island fever mate....I had the same problem in Shetland......not enough shopping or entertainment venues. The worst thing of all was the dirty dogs trying to chat her up when I wasn't looking.....aye my sympathies and good luck!

Barbecued ribs might work with the bitch in question tho.....just don't try the scented candles and bubble bath. ;)

The wife is sound ! <_< Most of the time :D

Just need another house dog and if a whole BBQ chicken can't shift the bitch then I think there is no hope left :o

Even I would walk up the mountain for one of Nathons best BBQ chickens ;)

Ah well, easy come easy go ;)

It's that season now - the bitches are in heat.

She's prolly looking for something more than a BBQ chicken.. and getting it down in the valley

Will the cry of "get up here now you bitch, i've left you a chicken drumstick for your dinner" really not get her back? :D

No drumstick here, no no no. We are talking a full, roadside BBQ chicken, head and all.

She did spend a dew days running with a pack of dogs a few months back but soon got bored with them.

Maybe it's me ? :o

On a positive note, my bitch has returned! Some of you will recall 6 months ago my wife posted under my name "Has anyone seen our dog?" then she couldn't figure out how to put the photo on so she just left it at that with me looking like a real idiot (which many posters pointed out). Well after 7 months we took our dog to the vet and she told us she was called to a shop the week before to give a shot to a dog that looked just like ours. We raced over and lo and behold there she was, a little bit skinnier but otherwise fine. To celebrate her return she chewed through her ninth bike seat.

Maybe you should try luring her back with bits of bacon like Jack Nicholson in As Good as it Gets, Dunc.

You need to win back her affections. I have heard that rolling in something unpleasant whilst giving a mournful howl

will appeal to her better nature. (You might also attract other canine interest)

A 100% success rate is guaranteed. Trust me.

when my dog was poisoned for some reasonm they left the front gate open. maybe someone did not like the barking and just simpley open the door. keep a watch out for suspicious people. might be a robbery in the making. though when u r paranoid everyone seems suspicious. like builders labours future salesmen. jsut be more aware. u need to anyway to try and hnt your dog down. try dog rescue. if it is lost then if u r lucky someone might have called them.

u know that thing in tescos center where u can print something on a peice of metal. i printed my dogs name and my telephone number on and hung it too its color. maybe put a post on tescos bored and mabe on here if u can get the permission.

could be a con. someone dog napped for reward. then anything is possible.

if that is the case then take the finders bank number and transfer them the reward. that way the person can save face and u get an i.d of the person that found your dog. see if he is a suspcious super dog and cat finder.

hope any of that helps
