Got a call from MBK the other day - they now have the PS Groove Jailbreak USB cards in stock

This allows you to install backup manager on your PS3, rip your games to HDD and also play DL'd game from an external HDD

VERY easy to do - just plug into PS3, unplug PS3, insert USB Card then press on and then immediately press EJECT button to load from USB card

HOWEVER THIS ONLY WORKS for PS3 Bios 3.41 - if you upgraded to this weeks 3.42 update it will not work as Sony have already plugged the hole

So just like with 360 and Wii I now have 2 PS3s, one set for original for online play with originals and another for play with "Backups"

This should just be the start I hope and there will be lots of homebrew - I expect emulators (PS2 and PSX) and such before the year. First Homebrew program is a FTP program which gives nearly full access to the PS3 HDD system. A good start
