Where To Find Vacation Rental

Featured Replies

Does anybody know where to find a good listing of available vacation rentals in Phuket? Want to rent a house 1 or 2 months.

I Googled of course, and there's thousands of pages but they all have silly prices. I guess they're snatching some paying customers, and that's good enough for them.

But my experience is that once on the ground, you can rent houses for perfectly reasonable prices, e.g. a very nice little pool villa with 2BR for ~40k/Month. Or 30k without private pool.

That's my experience in Samui, which is overbuilt similar to Phuket. These Villas are listed online for absurd prices, like $400 / night. Where can I get the normal prices?

No loss there for the owners, as I am not going to rent anything for $400/night anyway...

I guess it will be a bit more expensive than Samui since March/April seems to be high season in Phuket, and it's dead lowest of the low in Samui...

What area did you want to stay in phuket ? I know of a good 2 bedroom villa in phuket with pool , 30 k a month long term , its in laguna

These are great, thanks!

Not sure about location, I don't know Phuket that well. Not in Patong, and not in Phuket Town, thinking Karon, Kata, or south of there, or north of Patong, though I don't actually know that area at all. Wife won't stay in Kao Lak - lost a friend there...
