She would be welcome to fly copilot for me and tie down in my hangar anytime (as long a my wife didn't find out ! I flew with a few female copilots when I was flying the big birds for a major airline and my experience is that just like male pilots, some are extremely competent and others were only marginally competent but unfortunately none of them looked anything like the beauty queen flying for Air Asia. I am definitley in favor of more female pilots like Miss Thailand 2005.

My only problem with the arcticle is:

Unless terminology has changed since I got my license, when you fly solo, you don't have an instructor with you.

In my younger days before they became classified as lesbians, Tomboys who were real girls that liked to play tough like boys really used to turn me on. They still do.

Any ancients out there who can remember Mio Farrow with her cute Tomboy image in the long running soap, Peyton Place and the young Tom boyish Shirley maclaine? Wow.

Ain't you guys clever ... I had a female friend in USA -- a very pretty blond who talked like a valley girl ... last I spoke with her she was co-captain on United; maybe captain by now ... her father retired as 747 captain same airline.

She tries to graph the joy stick and breaking her finger nail, she starts crying for a hour or two.

Her tears are dripping on the electrical wire.

While approaching the landing strip she find out that makeup isn’t done well, huge problem for her.

While busy with lipstick and rouge she forgot to hit the brakes.

I would fly on a plane with this pilot anyday. She ovbiously had to work hard to become a pilot and is qualified. With all the attitude shown here she probably had to be better than most men to pass her tests. Her looks and sexual preferenes are not handicaps to her obvious talent.

I can see it now: You are on a flight from BKK to KUL and it is co-piloted by Miss 2005 ... after the flight you strike up a conversation on the Jetway and she says maybe you can visit her at her hotel... then she asks "You wouldn't be one of those jerks from Thaivisa who said I can polish their joystick?" and leaves you there in clear air turbulence.

..then later that night you go to your hotel room w/ a girl who looks like she climbed out of zombie flick and she drugs you. the next day you come back to thai visa to complain about it. The circle of life.
