...and there is a double irony here, in my view, because when I am in Sukkothai, I can't be bothered with computers and Thaivisa, there is too much to do in LOS.

Well then, I guess we're all praying for your speedy return to Sukkothai, aren't we?

Didn't Thomas say that he spent a lot of his time in Sukhothai wondering where he left his sandals?

Yes - and between this, and a little bit of that, I just can't find time for you.

Heartrending isn't it?

What's this sadly cr*p? You can't be sad about an inevitability that happens to us all.

Now, to die young - that's sad.

The "sadly cr*p" was an attempt at ironic humor: I got old, but in the photo she's still young and beautiful.

In reality, we both got old.

Try not to take everything so seriously. We need to be able to laugh, now and then, about the irony that life deals us. And, it's OK to be sad about that which is inevitable. If we didn't know sad, then happy would be meaningless.

You got me wrong.

I was not being serious, but, perhaps rather clumsily, pointing out life's inevitabilities as applied to all of us - a point you confirm in your reply.

On the question of sadness contra happiness - of course we must have the yin and the yang and treat them "both as impostors" because more than likely that which makes us sad will disappear whilst that which makes us happy will soon change.

So now are you being serious....or not?

Now, now - no sour grapes because all you could think of, at the time, was your initials.

I, certainly do not disguise, I chose my hero - I doubt, very much, the impersonator chose his.

Now, now - you know nothing about that. What would Thomas think? (Not you, the real one :D ).

Thomas would say, do some research:

This is a good post though - 'cause my name has to be one of the most boring, unconsidered nicks ever. Somebody else has got "Marmite the Dog", so maybe I can change mine to just Marmite?

Thankyou for proving my point - I didn't actually consider my nick for a second. Your original comment "all you could think of, at the time, was your initials" is wrong because I didn't think about it at all. Get it?
