I Spy - By Tot

Recently, I could not access my TOT internet access. Called them and were told they had "blocked my access" beause I changed the default password on the modem. I can only assume they must be checking on all users (they don't have that many or their staff have nothing else to do?) if they know I have changed the password. Wgere I come from, we are encouraged to change our passwords! Why would they want to insist on using their password? So they can spy on you? Has anyone else on the forum suffered this same invasion of privacy?
