New Chippy?

Tried the Jolly Friar on Sunday Night . Equally as good as the Village Chippy but with a bigger menu. My g/f had Thai food which was expensive for Thai food but very good all the same. The fish was excellent. The only problem i had was the outside temp had dropped on Sunday night and all the Thai staff were freezing so they had turned off the Air con and fans. I was sweating inside and there were smokers in the outside tables. We couldn't sit there as who wants cigarette smoke when you are eating ? Will return again tho..

Ive eaten "english style" F&C both here and in England......... all bland <deleted> compared to what is served up back home in OZ.

Nothing like sitting around Port Arthur enjoying kangaroo brains mixed with flour and water and then fried in emu fat.

Aren't Fish and Chips the seafood version of Beef served at Mc Donalds?

Honest enough, I am not British, American, Australian or Ozzie, so probably I will never appreciate this meal.

Admit though that similar has been served in Massachusetts and that wasn't too bad.
