U.S. drone attack in Pakistan's northwest kills seven

ISLAMABAD (BNO NEWS) -- A U.S. drone attack on a militant compound in northwestern Pakistan killed seven militants, including three Arabs, local media reported.

After two missile attacks that targeted a compound in village near the city of Miranshah in North Waziristan, the Arabs, one Afghan and one Pakistani were killed. At least two others were injured.

Authorities are investigating the importance of the target.

North Waziristan is a stronghold of militants linked to the Taliban and Al Qaeda, groups that are fighting NATO troops based in Afghanistan.

On Wednesday two drone strikes killed six suspected militants from the Haqqani network. The first attack occurred in the Mir Ali district, northeast of Miranshah, and the second in the Datta Khel district, west of the same city.

Recently, the CIA stepped up air strikes against militants in Pakistan after intelligence reports suggested that a Taliban-sponsored plot to attack several European cities was underway.

Drone strikes in Pakistan have killed at least 1,200 people since August 2008, according to Pakistani officials.

even children and babies are militants.

how many more have to die, for the 9/11 lie???

What lie is that, do tell?

That it was/is necessary to start a war to catch some Al Qaeda suspects is the lie.

And children and babies die, killed by bombs or such drone strikes, that is the truth.

I am confused Sergei.

Where in the OP does it say any children and babies were killed?

I hope you're sitting down for this, but I agree with you there. However, as evidenced, the original commenter meant that he believes that 9-11 was not perpetuated by Islamic terrorists, which is something entirely different than what you just said, and that's crazy talk.

BTW, don't you think it's relevant for people to know your nationality? It's your right to not divulge it, but with your handle name and many pro-Russian views, you have to know people are going to assume you are probably Russian. Yet you want to keep people guessing. Why exactly?

I am not a fan of conspiracy theories like that the Jews did it it or some Bilderberger or the US government itself.

Albeit the comment was vague - it smells like a truther line, but also like some trollish bait attempt with the teasing words 9/11 and lie.

I was aware of this and most of the time i ignore such comments or leave a short 'please, no conspiracy bullshit' remark.

But 'how many more have to die' is a valid question.

What makes you think that i am pro-Russian? Because of my opinion in the Bout case? My view on that has nothing to do with his nationality. I don't think that i made here (m)any Pro-russian statements.

I am a traveller, a migrant, i don't need some national pride or a flag attached to my posts, its not important to me.
