So paid 6 mths for one house and one office in advance . Installed AC etc kitted out house and office got all legal things in order to be there. Great location intially etc etc.

Then 1 month in a bunch of BGs have rented a unit behind (3 mtrs away )right in the middle of 12 two story houses and have opened a Karaoke bar .

Extremelly loud music intermitantly normally to at least 2 am sometimes later, pissed up male thais in the soi.

Landlord has had everyone complain , nothing been said or done.

Any ideas !

Don't think there's much you can do about it. Maybe find out who the "real" owner is, if he isn't a copper try going to cops offering some "extra" to shut them up.

Good luck, my FIL had one open up near his house, howling into the microphone until all hours of the morning. Being a man who doesnt' tolerate much he complained to the puyaiban, the kamnan, the sorjor, the police and the amphur. I believe it finally shut down when people stopped using it after about 6 months or so.

I should imagine other neigbours are not happy also, have you spoken to any of your niegbours?

happens often in Thailand.......by ear plugs or move....
