Newcastle Sack Boss

Featured Replies

Pardew 5 and a half year deal :cheesy:

I think Mike Ashleys a double agent. A born and bred Macken, with a life long mission to bring down Newcastle. This is obviously a key part of the plan.

I like it!!

This is just such an amazing appointment of such monumental stupidity.

Thank God the Gunners have stable non-@rsehole owners. They are a dying breed. I can only think of Spurs in the top falanx and that's only a relatively recent attribute for them. Why does football attract so many stable salt-of-the-earth fans and so many <deleted> as investors?

Pardew's a lucky bunny. Coming in when results are down, because all but one of the best players including most of the defence and midfield are on the sick list, will mean he will look good within a few weeks.

No way would I bet on them to go down and I might even be tempted to bet they end up above Sunderland if i got 2 to 1. The Magpies have certainly been more interesting to watch than the Mackems.

{I have no love for Newcastle - it's the only place I experienced football violence - my Carlisle United scarf was knicked and my shin was kicked at Newcastle station when the Cumbrians, a division or two lower (but upcoming) than the then mighty Newcastle, unexpectedly beat them 1-0 in the cup. Must have been late 60's!}

Come on lads give the man a chance no one else wanted to take the job on,but i do agree 5 and a half year deal :D anyone know what is pay packet is and what payout he will get when or if he gets the sack <_<

Really, i'll give you 5/2 with full Paypal details for Newcastle finishing above Sunderland, all day long ??

Carlisle scarf :o can we take it that the Gooners weren't playing so you thought you'd pop up to Newcastle to watch a game :D another real Arse fan :whistling: .

This appointment is on par with Liverpool appointing Roy Hodgson

An Arsenal/Carlisle Supporter, from Yorkshire..:D

Almost as bad as your Exeter/Hotspurts Supporting Devonian Alf..

I supported Carlisle United (where I was brought up, having been born in Yorkshire) home and away as a teenager. Then my parents moved to Norwich so I supported them for a year or two. Then I went to Essex University and supported Ipswich Town - and incidentally qualified as an FA referee - local, university and county league stuff only. Then I started work in Leeds so I supported them for a couple of years - but post-Revie they were boring as hell. Then I went to the States for 3 years and supported the Houston Oilers (NFL - a game I also like). When I came back to work in London in 1980 I could not stomach proper football - I missed not being served hotdogs and beer at my seat in an airconditioned stadium. It took another 10 years or so before I drifted back to football and towards Arsenal.

I retired early 3 years ago and moved to Thailand having come here on business many times before. I go back regularly to Yorkshire for no more than 10 days at a time. I still can't quite warm to the idea of Leeds United, so I'll drive across the Pennines and watch Wigan to get some EPL buzz. Easy to drive up and get a cheap seat. Occasionally stop off en route for an Emirates game.

I'm thinking of taking up the repeated invitation of the local blacksmith accross the road in our Issaan village to go watch SiSaket FC, but he gets very pissed and he'll probably kill me on the way home or take me to some karaoke place post-match and get me in more trouble than its worth.

Some would say I am not a real supporter. I'm certainly not a traditional fan(atic). That's their problem - I'll carry on enjoying the beautiful game.

Not a bad start for Pardew lets see how it goes for him .It is the Fat man that needs to <deleted> off.
