Quick question - can someone recommend a place selling German draft beer in Bangkok that has nice outdoor area.

In Minburi we have Der Zircus and an Italian place on Ramkamhaeng 164. Zircus is ok but the food is crap, Italian has awesome food but "outdoor" means, basically, in front of a town house in a busy soi.

I want to try something new. Downtown Great American Rib on Sukhumwit has a nice garden area but that's all I know. Great American used to have a branch on Ramintra but that went out of business half a year ago.

Any other suggestions? Need to have parking, too.

Oh, and preferably not so much smoking, the Belgian beer place on Tonglor sucks in that regard.

I think the Oz pub is a few hundred meters down from the German bar, I know the German one has roasted chicken on a grill outside.

There is draught Erdinger at a wine restaurant (forgot the name exactly) near Villa Market (Samitivej Thonglor hospital), they have a large parking space and tables outdoor. Also, there is dunkel Paulaner and other beers at Nelly's, that's an Irish bar on Ekamai Rd. around 500 meters from Sukhimvit intersection.
