Australian Man Shot Dead Outside His Home In Phetchabun.

Featured Replies

As reported on the front page of yesterday's national newspaper Thai Rat and then again in detail on page 15, Australian man Ronald Wayne Martin (i think this is how it is spelled in English), 59 years old, was shot dead by a Thai man while getting out of his car in front of his home in Beung Sam Pan (again, i think this is how it is spelled in English), in Phetchabun province on the 4th of January.

The killer has stated that the reason that he shot Mr. Martin was because he hated westerners. Apparently, the killer's second wife had left him for one.

The killer was waiting for Mr. Martin behind a tree at the side of his house and shot him in the right side of his head as he stepped out of his car after returning home.

The killer was a visitor to the area. He had gone to Beung Sam Pam to celebrate the new year at a relative's house and had spotted Mr. Martin in the village. The victim's wife was able to identify the killer.

Crazy stuff.

Sorry Mate, already running here 8 minutes before your post :(
