albert's not the most away fan friendly pub to be honest. the LFC urchins drink in there and they can be a nasty bunch. arkles is alright though, but my favourite has always been the stanley on walton breck road. had a number of good nights in the pan am myself mate as i know the ex-owner. :D

I met Sami Hyppia in there once ( Pan Am ) when i was with an Evertonian Pal of mine believe it or not, he was fcukign HUGE !!!

Pretty sure i've been in the Stanley too & it defo rings a bell..

I also remember getting Tix in the Kop for a 2-2 draw with you lot in the late 90's i think it was or early 00's in a <deleted> Boozer in Croxteth..

Got tee'd up by a Scouser from Home who was good as Gold, we had to meet his Cousin who had one Ear ( i thought he was winding us up when he said it but he wasn't ) in Croxteth in a Boozer after being on the 07:15 out of Euston & drinking Stella for Brekkie...:D

4 of us, i thought we was gonna get killed..

Then we went to a fcukign Working Men's Club & met a Monster of a Man called Paul who had the Tix & who looked after us for the rest of the day, great day great times great people great result, dems were teh days....:)

I lived just off Walton Breck Rd once upon a time and used to frequent the Stanley and The Albert regularly. You're right about the Albert not being away fan friendly though. A couple of near scrapes in there myself. Fortunately some of my Scouse mates stepped in to let them know I lived round the area and I was a City fan anyway. :D
