Man busted in UK smuggling cannabis from Thailand to clear debt
Regarding bags being checked in the middle east (Dubai, Qatar I don't remember which). I flew from Thailand to the Middle East, on to Europe, then on to the U.S. of A. In the middle east I was notified that I needed to go to such and such counter. When I found it and identified myself, a U.S. of A. government official advised me that my bags had been checked during the transfer from one airlines to another. She then applied a sticker to the outside of my passport. She would not tell me what they had been looking for. -

What is the process for filing the evisa non o for a spouse?
Yes, there is a lot of misinformation out there, even on some embassy websites. Immigration only rarely ask to see a ticket and it is always and ONWARD ticket that is needed. You will enter VISA EXEMPT, it is not a tourist visa. -

K bank E-mail with Tax Forms attached ?
The OP said "As anybody had an E-mail from Kbank asking to fill out 3 forms and return to them" I also received this email asking me to fill out the three forms they attached. The email has this line in it "The CRS aims to combat tax evasion by individuals residing outside Thailand and to ensure compliance with international taxation standards. In light of these requirements, we kindly request your cooperation in completing the following steps:" I replied to Kbank and pointed out that I am resident in Thailand and asked them why they want me to fill out forms for people who are not resident here. Still waiting for a response. -
