Which of these 3 hotels in China Town is better located(for food and shopping) and which will you recommend for families ?

White Orchid Hotel, China Town Hotel & Grande Ville Hotel.

Which of them is nearest to Wat Trimit and which is farthest ?

Can anyone recommend any hotel around the Siam Square area of the same price range ? There don't seems to be many hotels there. Mostly in Pratunam.

I like to explore the place taking the timing of the Chinese New Year festival.

have never stayed in this area all my previous visits.

I don't know those hotels,but I'd definitely check out the Grand China Hotel. Great location and the closest to the ferry pier for the riverboat to relative civilisation.

I wouldn't stay in Siam Square at all. Novotel is average and overpriced for the corporate bookings. There are some hotels with more atmosphere not far from MBK (National Stadium) or else a few at Phayathai and Ratchatewee which is only 2 BTS stops away.
