Can I Bring My Motorbike In Form Lao

Just wandering if I would be able to take my motorbike into Thailand form Lao. It has a Lao reg, or at least it will have in a couple of weeks when the reg is done. I am guessing as I am on Holiday visa that i will not be able to reg it in my own name if I take it to Thailand. Also is it practical or indeed possible to transport the motorbike by train.

Its only a small bike and traveling form Vientiane to Bangkok is just not on on a Kolao sonata 110cc. :D

Have a look at the gt riders forum. That gives you all the information you will need to get your bike into Thailand and surrounding countries. A very good site for the biker in SE Asia :D
