Buying Htc Desire Hd

Featured Replies

does anyone know how much i have to pay for a htc desire hd in bangkok? the phone seems attractive. not signing plan. thank you.

I've seen it in Fortune IT Mall for about 23K.

I've seen it in Fortune IT Mall for about 23K.

Thats correct, everywhere in BKK 23K, funny enough in Pattaya its 18800K.

However be aware of some network issues.

I have purchased Desire just the other day and am with TRUE Internet package.

Its now been 4 days and can not get 3g to work, but not because of the phone, because TRUE or Dtac does not seem to know how to set up the phone.

They all know what to do with Iphone, but no idea on any of the HTC phones-really weird.

Just an update for you.

Have finally managed to speak to someone with a brain at True and as it turns out HTC does not support Thailand 3G.

Thailand 3G is 850ghz, while HTC supports from 950ghz up.

But it does work ok with edge or gprs

By the way, if you interested, i am now will be selling my 10 days old HTC Desire(because i am on 3g package, so no use if it does not work with 3g)

Can PM me and we could do a deal :D

A lot of people complain that the HTC desire max ringtone is not loud enough. So check this out before you buy one

I very doubt you can find a HTC Desire HD for 18.800, most probably you can get the HTC Desire (the old) for that amount.

Everywhere Desire HD Is 22.900, you can get only a bigger or smaller micro SD

You can doubt as much as you like, or you also welcome to make a wager with me.I will happily hold your hand and walk you straight to a store where you will buy HTC Desire HD for 18800.

C'mon, don't get so excited for a so small issue.

Ok, you're right

You probably have to buy an iPhone if you want to use True 3G for time being? Not many smart phones offer the True 3G 850MHz. The HTC phones run 3G on 900/2100 Mhz which is standard for most countries, but not Thailand. TOT have 3G over Bangkok using 900/2100 Mhz and the recent TOT award of 3G contract to service installers might see nationwide coverage sometime by next year on these frequencies. Based on form so far I'd bet my money on True providing a better service with with the CAT partnership but no idea what technical specs are for that. I'm holding off buying a 3G smart phone for at least another yr! Already bought 3 that don't work here.
