Yesterday I was driving on my Honda XLV750R Special Edition from 1983 on Lat Phrao when my Clutch cable broke.

Very awkward.........

I contacted TP-motorcycles for a replacement clutch cable and they said:

From TP

hi

If you are willing to pay for high end one 19,000 beringer brand (new)

if you want old one. No anymore

Thank you for your regards.

Opening New Tpmotorcycle Shop in Phuket Now!!

Does any of you know a parts shop where I can find Big Bike Honda parts.

After this email I wanted to surf to a European parts supplier (where you can have them for 900Baht), but they must be available here in Thailand

Hehe, I bought an NSR one for 53 baht ***new***.

You guys are mad riding around on these bikes with no support network. Always bear this in mind: bikes need feeding parts...

How does your response help the OP? I have opinions as well, but not relevant to the question asked.

Stay away from TP, they will not do you any good, just search for old tread about TP

Most big towns or cities will have a place that can knock you one up in no time. If you have the old one they simply cut the cable to length and press on the nipple ends to suit. I got one made up for my old 1000cc Virago for around 200 baht. Try taking the bust cable to a few bike shops and ask. ;)

H2oDunc is right.

If you don´t get a original Honda cable in a Big Bike Shop, some resourceful thai mechanics will make it by semselfes, like they do many things in copie for them.

Don´t worry, you will find find one.
