Multiple fractures to his right hand, arm & leg, certainly looking to miss the season opener but hopefully not career-ending, where did you read that ?

Sadly it seems you were right poor Kubica almost lost his right hand and had to undergo 7hrs of surgery to rebuild it.

At present looking likely to miss the entire 2011 season as doctors saying a year to recover. How very sad. Best wishes to him for a full recovery.

Has to be a massive blow too to the Renault Lotus team especially given his recent pace in testing. The second & reserve drivers are some way away off his pace.

Sad indeed. Wonder if this will mean teams being more wary about allowing their drivers to participate in activities like this? Last year of course we had Webber involved in a pre-season biking accident. Nasty it was too, but nothing like as serious as Kubica's. Really do worry for the lad. Get well soon.

At one stage rumours were saying he's undergone an amputation. Happily unfounded. I hope he get's back.
