A follow on from a more complex question I posted in Business forum.

If a farang gives his wife money transferred from abroad for a house

purchase, does the Thai have to pay tax on it?

I don't think so as the money should've been taxed already but

am trying to help out a friend whose marriage has gone tit's up.
