PAD insists to have MOU 2000 terminated

BANGKOK, 13 February 2011 (NNT)-The People’s Alliance for Democracy (PAD) has insisted that the government terminates the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed in 2000 between Thailand and Cambodia, citing that it is a disadvantage for Thailand.

The PAD, led by General Chamlong Srimuang, claims that territory issue can be solved even without the Joint Border Committee’s framework.

The Yellow Shirt proposed that the government organize a team of experts on the border issue to solve the problem instead of relying on the MOU.

The PAD also wants Cambodian soldiers to step out of the overlapping land before the negotiation between Thailand and Cambodia take place.

Concerning the safety of their rally, the PAD stressed that they are taking precautionary steps by checking the I.D. of every protester as it will be easy to identify an instigator.

Is that because there are so few of them, they know the names of single person that supports them?

This is stupid! If the government does this, what is the point in having any MOU with a Thai govt ever again as they will only do the same when it suits. GET REAL

PAD = Pathetic Adult Deterioration. These guys need to get a life and face reality. whistling.gif

Surely they need to face reality. But who to tell them? Recent Government is afraid of their influence and power to move the things, to open processes. Recent government came by the yellows(one way or another). Both sides know that.

This was predictable. The PAD have started with 3 very sharp requests and now they expand their list of requests.

If Government do as they demand(suggest) now, that will all go straight to hell. And General Chamlong, his members of family, for sure will not go to the war. Not his family or any other big sharks from yellow shirts. Youth of Thailand will go to the war which old turtles created.

I am convinced, PM is not naive to listen to them at all.
