Why Was Thread On Hull Closed Down?

The thread on the honorary Thai consulate at Hull was closed -- without explanation. Found HERE

There was no explanation as to 'why,' which is unusual in itself, especially since there was nothing in the thread that seemed controversial.

Can the mod who shut it down please explain -- or would the explanation be too controversial? Interesting mystery.....particularly since the Hull website is "under construction."
