That is simply not true. There are protocols in place, in Thai law which govern compensation awards and punishments, ordered by the courts.
And before anyone starts about the Red Bull gimp, he has not been arrested or put in front of the courts - that is down to corruption.
That's normal driving by trucks in third-world and developing countries. Happens all of the time her in Thailand. In the US, I think using U-Turn lanes on highways is pretty much universally illegal.
