Democrat says Pheu Thai aims to control politics at both ends.

By NUPPOL SUVANSOMBUT.

BANGKOK, 27 February 2011 (NNT0)-The Democrat Party said power would be returned to the public after the censure debate while also offering to increase minimum wage for Thai people in an attempt to tackle rising cost of living.

Meanwhile, Democrat Spokesperson Dr. Buranat Samutarak said he was confident that the Pheu Thai Party would not be able to solve political divides among Thai people.

Following the Red shirt core leader Nattawut Saikua’s announcement to run for MP position, Dr. Buranat said the Pheu Thai Party could be aiming at gaining control on politics at both ends., both in the parliament and the public circle. This, he believes to be confusing for the public on their political standpoint.

He further stated that in an attempt to attack the Democrat Party, the Peua Thai Party is expected to use personal information, already brought to the spotlight by the Red Shirts, in their arguments during the no-confidence debate. Meanwhile, Dr. Buranat said the Government has introduced its wage increase policy for Thai people to cope with rising product prices by 25% within 2 years.

Does that mean I have to give my wife a 25% increase in her allowance.:P

Afraid so.

Easy for me though.

25% of nothing shouldn't affect me too much. ;)
