Kitchen Makers

Featured Replies

Hi,

Does anyone know of a good but cheap kitchen maker either formica or wooden that is modern look.. have looked at absolute but they are very expensive...

Thank you

Debra

If you don't need it right now, I would wait until IKEA opens up in Bang Na in Bangkok in November this year. I bought 2 kitchen from Index for my rentals 2 years ago. They look modern and ok, but they start to fall apart now. The third kitchen bought somewhere else, but still same low quality.

In my own apartment I have made the kitchen myself in redwood. It will probably last longer than me... And with Ikea fronts in glass and aluminium.

If IKEA start to sell kitchen with the same warranty they have elsewhere, 10 years, and the same quality, they will be unbeatable in the Thai market. I have put up 4 Ikea-kitchen at the places I have lived in my home country and know it's good!

Thank you Zulu for replying.. I dont really want to wait until Nov.. so will have to have a shop around.. I think formica kitchens are a no no because of the damp/humidity and wood is the best... and know index are formica..

Absolute not sure if the formica covers wood or mdf or similara but so expensive..

thanks again for replying

Debra
