PomPui Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 The 2011 UEFA Champions League Trophy Tour presented by Heineken was launched today at UEFA Headquarters in Switzerland and marks the start of an exciting line up of events for football fans in Asia ahead of the UEFA Champions League Final in May. The Trophy Tour was launched with an official handover of the famous trophy by UEFA Champions League Trophy Tour Ambassador, and former England international, Graeme Le Saux to Heineken Ambassador Marcel Desailly. From Switzerland, the trophy will travel to Kuala Lumpur in February, then pass through the cities of Penang, Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Kon Kaen and Seoul in March/April, before ending in Hong Kong in mid-April. Returning to Asia for the first time since the inaugural Trophy Tour back in 2007 the schedule of the 2011 UEFA Champions League Trophy Tour presented by Heineken is: February 22 – 27 Kuala Lumpur March 5 – 6 Penang March 11 – 12 Kuala Lumpur March 16 – 17 Bangkok March 19 – 20 Chiang Mai March 25 – 27 Kon Kaen April 6 – 9 Seoul April 15 – 17 Hong Kong Does anyone know where the trophy will be showing in Bangkok? Cheers PomPui
MSingh Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 I'm sure one of the T*ttingham Supporters on here could enlighten us seeing as they've probably self assigned themselves as Body Guard's to it, as T*ttingham >> Champions League Trophy is just like Bread & Butter, Chalk & Cheese, Bagels & Harry & Lloyd..

bkkjames Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 Exciting now here is my prediction for tomorrow's fixed draw. Barca vs Shattered Dancer Scalke vs Spurs (easy path for Barca to the final) Man Utd vs Chelsea Madrid vs Inter Ensures only one English team has a shot of getting to the final and a tough shot at that. Final Inter vs Barca Barca to win.

Shattered Dancer ?? Is that that famous North American humour shining through again in your Posts Jimbo ??

MrRed Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 Christian Karembeu ....now then he has got a trophy that i would like to get my hands on. Just sour grapes singer, what happens when some rich arab comes along and pours the money into your lot and you win it? Of course you would think about the greed and cheating wouldnt you cheating and greed has always been in football,it is just a mirror of the society that we all now live in nothings changed(it has just got bigger) just certain supporters get more bitter as the trophyless seasons role by! Ask a City fan! but look how things have changed for them,ok they will change next year or the year after that or..... Anyway back to Mrs Caraboo now then.
MSingh Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 Just sour grapes singer, what happens when some rich arab comes along and pours the money into your lot and you win it? Of course you would think about the greed and cheating wouldnt you I would, without a doubt.. It is very hard for some to believe but my Club to me isn't about winning the Champions League, i hate the Champions League & what it stands for & i despise Foreign Ownership... If some Arab comes along & pours money in, it would give me a jep Jai & i'd end up in Prison due to the Fans that would be attracted to my beloved Club that i personally simply would not tolerate. No thanks, i like being sh*t & keeping Teams Goaless, Teams who have spent 600% more Net than us over 4 Seasons & have 46m Pounds worth of Footballer on the Bench when they play us, i like keeping them goaless against us in 3 hours of Football, i liek that a lot & find it incredibly satisfying..
