March 25, 201115 yr This site drives me nuts! their flash, and overall plan to keep everyone stuck on their site for hours is frustrating. None of their functions work right. Really don't like it! If anyone has a replacement in simple html, that's updated I can bookmark I'd appreciate it. Whoever the webmaster is for sfcinemacity.com, they need to learn more about how simplicity sells more than confusion. btw their Iphone app sucks worse
March 25, 201115 yr email them. http://www.sfcinemacity.com/index.php/th/contactus moved to internet forum
March 25, 201115 yr seems no different, or even better then most thai websites, shame no option to read in english
March 25, 201115 yr seems no different, or even better then most thai websites, shame no option to read in english Aren't Thai websites basically dedicated to Thai people ?!?
March 25, 201115 yr The website works fine for me, it really pops. Instantaneous response on theater and showtimes. I use Admuncher to block ads so maybe this helps? Mostly I use their Android app. which is brilliant. It often has showtimes before the website. The Major Android app. is great too. My guess is something wrong with your PC or internet connection? seems no different, or even better then most thai websites, shame no option to read in english Once you "Enter the site" there is a British flag in the upper left hand corner which allows you to toggle to English. This is pretty universal, and I suspect most people can figure that out? Edited March 25, 201115 yr by lomatopo

March 25, 201115 yr seems no different, or even better then most thai websites, shame no option to read in english Wouldn't matter if there was, the majority of sites still have the content in Thai when you click the English button.

Scroll down to the bottom to "Enter the Site", where you will be taken to to http://www.sfcinemacity.com/index.php where you can switch to English. Evidently, in addition to the OP's issue(s), this site isn't idiot-proof?
March 25, 201115 yr If all you want to do is see what movies are playing, synopsis, reviews and showtimes, this is the site I go to. It's not going to help if you are trying to book tickets though. It works for Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. http://www.movieseer.com/ http://www.movieseer.com/th/index.aspx Edited March 25, 201115 yr by Pakaty
March 25, 201115 yr Author thanks this works fine http://www.movieseer.com/th/showtimes.aspx Vanishing on 7th Street...download it. Although I was impressed with the budget for that movie.
March 27, 201115 yr SFCinemacity Eng Link. SFC website is better than Major Cineplex. SFC website have always worked for me and they have a calender at the left bottom with the future releases, it is a really useful feature. To my knowledge SFC don't use flash for the core functions, viewing show timing, they use flash for ads which is not a huge problem.
March 27, 201115 yr Author http://clip2net.com/clip/m9646/1301203168-clip-263kb.jpg coming soon, "true grit" http://www.sfcinemacity.com/index.php/en/movie-detail/True-Grit Does location or anything work for anyone else? Release Date 24 February 2011 - never saw it... nice graphics but they don't have this movie Try the "Today Showtimes" for the movies (btw it's not the movies they have).. results are nothing after search. It's obviously a case of a poor webmaster and management that has no clue on how to check his work. And they problem don't think it's that important. They hired the guy since he could throw up sexy graphics. sad

March 27, 201115 yr True Grit has come and gone. Great film. The best, simplest, easiest, most straight-forward way to check showtimes is to go here http://www.sfcinemacity.com/index.php/en/home/highlight Then go to "Today's Showtimes" and choose either/both a location and a film, then click SEARCH. I mean honestly, how hard is that? The Android app is easy to use as well. Movieseer is OK but often doesn't have accurate showtimes, ~ 50% of the time they are wrong, and they often list only a fraction of the theaters/screens. http://www.sfcinemacity.com/index.php/en/timetable/lookup?mcode=VANISH7_E Central Pattaya Beach Vanishing On 7th Street(E) Showtimes: 13:0515:2517:4520:0522:2500:45
March 27, 201115 yr Author no graphics for unknown http://clip2net.com/clip/m9646/1301206170-clip-42kb.jpg buggy
March 28, 201115 yr I have no problem with seeing the listing for Pattaya SFC . Did you try using a different browser (Firefox 4) ? Edited March 28, 201115 yr by shriah
