The pie lady (K Fon) on the corner of Theppasit and soi 24 (aka Alexanders) now does paratha to go with the pappadom you found for me from Soi 16 all to complement her tasty curries. Defrost, leave in her clingfilm and microwave for 20-30 seconds only. Beef madras and chicken korma are delightful. Soon to try her new meat and cottage pies. Haven't tried her crumble desserts yet. So far great taste, great value and very filling.

sorry ........ finger fumble

K fon's shop called Alexanders (afetr her son) is on the very small soi just where Soi 54 (not soi 24) meets Theppasit. Soi 54 on the left going north just after Makro. She seems to work very hard and is making a business now. Will she get the JT thumbs up?

Would that be the same as Thepprasit soi 5 ? as Thepprasit soi 5 comes out on to Sukhumvit just after Makro.

Yes, it,s soi 5 off Theprassit, and the other end is soi 54 off Suk.

But, I don't see any shop called Alexanders, and I drive this road regularly

when you drive from Sukhumvit (soi 54) then Fon's shop is in the very last very small soi on the left just before you reach Theppasit . Turn left before reaching Theppasit and it's about 30m on the left and has white sllding grill gates in front. Tried her crumble desserts too and again good taste & value.

Soooo. Coming from Theprassit on Soi 5, its the first Soi on the right, and about 30 metres down that side-road.

Do I have this correct now ??

And prices ???

yes ....................... but the little soi is almost on Theppasit - it's that close

............. and all her prices are on the whiteboard in the shop (retail and wholesale)

Thanks, I found it.

Actually on Soi 5/1 Theprassit.

Seems to be mostly frozen food, but some of it looks good, and very handy to have somewhere like this in Jomtien.

i've been there when some has just been cooked and not yet in the freezers - eg parathas which were great along with piping hot beef madras & chicken korma. Wonderful affect on olefactory nerves (great smell)! The vindaloo is not too hot and has good flavours. Have yet to defrost my beef stew and cottage pie. I defrost all products naturally (not microwave) . Dont forget to leave the film on the parathas while you microwave (25 secs is OK) as that keeps them from going dry. Hope you enjoy these various dishes as much as I and now our friends do. Steak & kidney pie, mash (or chips) and beans - lubbly jubbly. Or chicken madras, parathas, pappadom (from Ravis on soi16) and spicy and/or lime pickles. And easy too.
