The demand, which was made in the form of a resolution, was approved in Monday's assembly session, Pakistan's Express Tribune reported, adding that the resolution was tabled by senior provincial minister Bashir Bilour. In addition, to reduce civilian casualties, the resolution demands the U.S. to hand over its drone technology to Pakistan, asserting that drone attacks are against the sovereignty of Pakistan, which would not be tolerated. Despite the resolution's approval, members of the opposition protested. On April 21, Pakistani Foreign Secretary, Salman Bashir will be traveling Washington, D.C. with a high-level delegation to hold Pakistan-U.S. strategic dialogue in which topics such as terrorism, bilateral relations and a support fund for Pakistan will be discuessed. -- © BNO News All rights reserved 2011-04-
