Boater Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 i did wonder why the USA didnt make the list, but a billionaire texan did ! Will be an interesting event, as them radical muslims will be kicking off !
zzaa09 Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 I declined my invitation. Wouldn't find it all that important nor overtly stimulating.:jap:

StreetCowboy Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 I knew I should have left a forwarding address... SC
Semper Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 "Prince William and Kate Middleton" Never heard of them. Who are they?
Jingthing Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 They did Obama a favor by not inviting him. If they had, he would have had to attend, and he really does have more important things to do.

I take it you're pretty sore at missing out on an invitation, then... Had you bought a new dress on the off-chance? SC
remiss Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 I've been on a hunger strike for several hours now and my invitation should be arriving shortly!

Stick with the Union Jack shorts and matching bowler hat on the day. Should be worth a free drink or two at least!

Although one is as proud of the union as the next man, one's own kilt will suffice. Shorts are for drinking, not wearing. Would union jack shorts be a quarter gill or a fifth? SC

Look what the Union has done for us.....took away our quarter gill and gave us two litre bottles of white lightning instead! I'm sceptical of any monarch with knobbly knees.....

Knees are inherently knobbly; I would look askance at any monarch who claimed not to have knobbly knees (I fear we are on thin ice here, and regal knees may well be a proscribed topic...) We should forever remember that it is our Union, and never let the English claim more than their share through their proximity to the House of Hanover and their Dutch antecedants. SC

SC Just seen its forecast to rain quite heavily on Friday. No need to add a bottle of water along with my hip flask. Anyone know where I can pick up 30000 Union Jack umbrellas at short notice?
doggie888888 Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 "Prince William and Kate Middleton" Never heard of them. Who are they? The guy is from a long term welfare family and the girl is unemployed.
IanForbes Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 I regretfully had to turn down my invitation. It was on the same day as our annual golfing night dinner and I didn't want to miss getting my trophy for shooting the highest score in a tournament..
onionluke Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 There is an other little know invitation list doing the rounds . All you need is a titled name . You take your granparents first name and a double barrel with your first pets name and the street you were born on . It is easy and it would make me Lord Francis Fluffy-Glasgow
remiss Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 I have been invited!! (although it is only for cake at work) Attire required: "Dress: Uniform, Morning Coat or Longue Suit" If I had a morning coat I would seriously meet up at work with that..
