Asus Laptop Repair In Phuket

Featured Replies

Hi

Recently the LCD panel bezel which connects to one of the hinges of my laptop (ASUS M51SN) decided to split. I understand this can be a common occurrence on laptops.

There are two ASUS service centres in Phuket Town, one is Synnex and the other is Value.

Can anyone guide me in the right direction here as to where I should get my laptop fixed.

As my 2 year warranty has already expired maybe even a third party repairer might be the go.

My criteria here is a reasonably priced repair with a trustworthy repairer. After reading a recent story on computer repairers I am a little paranoid about letting my ailing baby go to anyone.

Any help would be kindly appreciated.

I understand that there are boundries as to how people can help and that the moderator will only allow positive recommendations.

Also any assistance in giving information for preparing a laptop for repairs, such as program & data back ups, deleting cookies, passwords etc and also checking for trojans etc on return would be welcome.

Thanking you in advance.

There is a brilliant guy who specialises in all-things laptop.

I'm unable to give his details here, or even by PM. But if you go to one of Woody's Computer Clinics on Sunday mornings, and ask about laptop repairs, you'll be put in touch with him.

The large-ish computer and repairs shop on the bottom floor at Big C (it's the one halfway between the food court and all the mobile phone vendors). I have had my Asus notebook repaired there for a good price and with back up warranty. However, you might also want to consider getting yourself a new notebook (not another Asus) - I had nothing but trouble with my Asus (which I gladly retired at just over two years of age)...

Asus repair center in Phuket town has repaired multiple acers, once even one out of warranty no charge.

Surely for an acer thats the place to go. Phang Nga Rd.
