Coolest Place To Surf The Net?

Featured Replies

I've heard that Bangkok has quite a few free/cheap access wi-fi hotspots -

I'll be in BKK over the next few months and will be bringing my laptop to check emails etc - the question is:

In peoples first hand opinion, where is the coolest place you can access wi-fi?

It could be a place with a great view, a fantastic bar or restaurant, by the pool, anywhere!

Anysuggestions/reccommendations would be greatly appreciated :o

Simons 43...going on ??? place...cool :o

Cheers for the answers - are these free access? If not, how many Baht per hour?

For the free places you normally have to buy a drink or something like that. Tamarind Cafe on soi 20 (i think) has free wi-fi as does Coffee Society on Silom road. Starbucks has wi-fi but you have to buy a pre paid card to use that. Not sure of the prices but you can buy 1, 5 and 20 hour cards.

Most 5 star hotels will have wi-fi access but you will have to ask the business centre about getting a username and password. I am not sure if Siam Discovery is wireless but it used to be, Can jsut find a quiet place to sit and check your mails there.
