WEST GOSHEN, PENNSYLVANIA (BNO NEWS) -- Former reality TV star from MTV's 'Jackass' Ryan Dunn was intoxicated and speeding when he fatally crashed his vehicle in Pennsylvania last Monday, officials said Wednesday.

Dunn died at around 3:30 p.m. local time alongside 'Jackass Number Two' production assistant Zachary Hartwell, after his Porsche 911 GT3 hit a tree in West Goshen Township, Pennsylvania when he lost control of the vehicle and came off the road.

According to West Goshen Police Chief Michael Carroll, Dunn's blood alcohol content (BAC) was .196 at the time of the accident, which is more than twice the .08 legal amount established by the state of Pennsylvania, the Daily Local reported. In addition, investigations determined that he was driving his vehicle between 132 and 140 miles per hour in a 55 miles per hour zone.

Dunn, who was 34 at the time of his death, was originally of Medina, Ohio and later moved to West Chester, Pennsylvania. He is probably most remembered for being part of the original daredevil crew in MTV's 'Jackass,' but he also participated in other TV shows including 'Viva La Bam,' and hosted 'Homewrecker' and 'Proving Ground.'
