chops
My Thai wife says I should pay no more than 100-150 for a cheap t-shirt or pair of shorts. Whoops. Guess a lot of us have paid more than that, including me. I send her out now to buy clothes for me.
Michaelaway
Don't most decent shorts cost between 199 and 399 baht or so? T-shirts are cheaper, no?

Them cheapo clothes are all the rage in Isaan these days, leaves more money for new mobile phones and gold.
londoedan
In both Bangkok and Pattaya I pay 150 baht for a L or XL T-shirt and maybe 50 more for a pr of shirts, usually buying 2 or 3 items at a time. Anymore than that and just move on to the next stall. I'm talking about the Che / band name / beer brand versions. What surprises me is how long they last: I have quite a pile of these at home now. About the same prices in indonesia and Vietnam for the Bir Bintang / HCM designs. Londo
Zammo
Personal hygiene for me is priority 1, what you wear number two what you pay the clothes vendor "up to you!"
