Report: 72 billionaires in China died of unnatural causes since 2003

BEIJING (BNO NEWS) -- A significant number of billionaires in China has died of unnatural causes since 2003, according to a report from the state-funded China Daily newspaper on Friday.

The report cited a local newspaper which conducted a survey of public reports about billionaires' deaths over the past eight years. It found 15 billionaires were murdered, 17 committed suicide, seven died from accidents, 14 were executed, and 19 died from diseases.

It is not known how many billionaires live in China currently, but a recent report estimated there are approximately 60,000 people with more than 100 million yuan ($15.5 million). A recent report from China Network Television (CNTV) however said China is home to 189 billionaires.

"17 committed suicide" ??? I have billions and I can't take it anymore.:whistling:

At the reported death rate of unnatural deaths, throw in the old codgers who die of old age, China over the next 2 decades could be rid of those ultra wealthy pests. Now who wants to be a successful business person in China?
