Cheap Car For Rent In Phuket

Featured Replies

Hi, There

I am looking for cheap car for rent in Phuket , Prefer automatic car ( not consume lot of gasoline would be perfect)

Want to rent it for 5-7 days to discover somewhere out sit of the Island a bit : )

Does anyone know or would recommend a good place to rent

Thank you in advance for all suggestion.

I guess it would depend where you are in Phuket. Years ago I would rent a car when I arrived at the airport from David Car Rental. I never had a problem with them. I'm not sure if they are still around as that was six years ago... I see signs on cars rental places in Rawai that seem pretty reasonable, but I've never rented from them as I bought a car...

Quite a few of the small rental places limit you to Phuket Island. Since you indicate you want to go outside I would recommend one of the bigger rental places like Budget or something like that.

Nina's car rentals in Chalong is a very reputable outfit, I think the owner is from france or belgium, i rented a car off him to go to krabi, I damaged it a bit by accident and he was very reasonable about it. The price was also good and he didnt require a credit card and he didnt want to hold on to my passport, another option is happy days bar in chalong...they are pretty casual there too...i dont know if happy days has any cars left now as i heard he was selling them, but srtill could be a chance.

I have always been happy with Sutin Car Rent. They are in Patong, Nanai Road. Coming into Nanai from South, after the bridge on left side in a small Soi. Phone number is (was) 0818922812. It's been a few years now, since I had a car from them. Yesterday I saw a Prius (Hybrid) with their sticker...

Driving off Phuket and max a week, I would go with one of the large companies. Insurance and routines in handling accidents, makes the slightly higher price, if any, worth it

Budget, Avis, Thai Rent a car

all require credit card, none keep you passport
