Room In Haad Rin For Full Moon

I am heading to the full moon next week and have been looking online for rooms.

Im hoping to stay within walking distance of haad rin but all the rooms seem to want 5 nights minimum.

I am planning on staying 2 nights spending 1-2k per night.

Are there any places around had rin where this is possible?

Will it be easier turning up or booking before?

Most places won't hold a room empty on the promise of a 1 or 2 night stay when they can fill it for longer. If you really don't want to book then show up and look around for something. August is fairly busy but not peak.

When I go to koh phangan I stay about 10 minutes from had rin,Nan Tai/Ban kai.Morningstar and My phangan resort are fine.And traveling is easy just flag down A songthew open air pick up.
