I normally do the same but I also have my favorite set of posters and forums so I take a look at those ones first whilst searching for new posts if that makes any sence. Over all though I search for new posts so that was my vote :D

Front page for news items, then new topics.

Later stroll around the forums if I have the time. :o

I usually just search each forum i have an interest in. Occasionally a thread title in a forum i don't often visit (like the gay or buddhist forums) grabs my attention and i stick my head through the door to see what's going on.

I click on "My Assistant" every time I log in and read whatever it finds.

am I in your list Icey? who else is in it, do tell :o

That explains why you spend so much time down the FC

I usually log on to the Portal, check out who is online, scan through the latest news bulletins, click on my member name and view my posts to see who has replied, then View New Posts.

Taoism: shit happens

Buddhism: if shit happens, it isn't really shit

Atheism: I don't believe this shit

I normally press the "view interesting new posts" button.

Tell me now you always see most of the result are mine right? :o

I scan the topics on the first page of a select variety of forums. If something interests me, I'll open it in a new window and continue browsing while I wait for the other window to load.

I work my way through the forums.

Sometimes I go to some individual forums that I'm interested in to have a browse in case I missed anything and if I'm looking for something in particular I'll do a search. So far so good.

Since your post i've tried to copy your combo. I thought there may be an approach that would show heightened efficency.

I was like a fish without water, suffocating in the derth of up to date information.

I will return to trawling, whereby my net can gather the deepest, darkest information that the forum has to offer, ripe for my response.

Fair thee well :o
