Ring Size Help! Please!

Featured Replies

I have searched here and the sizing charts on the internet and everything is clear as mud while trying to convert a Thai size to Us size. So I hope one you you Ladies could assist me. Her Thai size is 52, she thinks it is about a 9 US size or 18.9mm if that sounds right. Every conversion chart I look at seems to be different somehow. Any information you could provide would be of great help. I need to get it ordered very soon (we already picked it out online) and want it when I go to Thai in a month.

I'm not a lady, but I did a similar thing in April of this year.

Fortunately I happened to have the finger in question with me, it was mine :)

We were having the ring made in Thailand. I went to several jewellers in the UK and measured my finger. Looked online for the various conversion charts and told my partner what the measurements were. I gave her the UK size the US size and a measurement in millimetres.

The ring was made, and it was too small! (I now wear it around my neck on a chain).

What I suggest you do is to get your partner to buy a cheap ring that fits and send it to you, then take that with you when you buy your ring.

Hope this helps :)

I am with biff here, never been able to get those ring sizers to work, she could try printing one off the internet and see if it works...

this one measures by a piece of string
