HM THE KING BESTOWED A ROYAL COMMAND FOR APPOINTMENTS OF DPM AND PUBLIC HEALTH MINISTER

A royal command has been given granting the appointments of a public health minister and a deputy prime minister.

His Majesty the King Phumiphol Adulyadet has bestowed a royal command for the relieving of Deputy Prime Minister Phinit Jarusombat from his current ministerial position. The royal command also calls for the appointment of Mr. Phinit Jarusombat as Public Health Minister. Meanwhile Dr. Suchai Charoenrattanakul, who relinguished his post as Public Health Minister, has been appointed a deputy prime minister.

The royal command was announced yesterday, taking effect immediately.

The bestownment of re-appointments came after Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra reported to HM the King the resignation of Public Health Minister Dr Suchai Charoenrattanakul on October 31st, which prompted minor adjustment in the cabinet to facilitate works.
