Hello,

I'm a teacher in agovernment school in Bangkok. I have a one year contract valid until31 March 2012. I have a non immigrant B visa and a work permit –both valid until the end of my contract – 31.03.12.

The thing is I probablywon't extend my contract for another year. And as my visa runs outthe same day as my contract I won't have time to leave Thailand andget a tourist visa or else.

What should I do? Is itpossible to extend a Non B visa without a work contract? What optionsdo I have,

Best regards,

Maciej Klimowicz

You can obtain a 7 day extension period to leave from immigration for 1,900 baht although you could be required to show ticket leaving.
