It seems you receive 1 days grace to leave on 30 day tourist visa.

But what is the penalty if 2 days late??

Also, I have a 630am departure on Air Asia.

Do you think it is possible to check in by kiosk the night before and

pass immigration 1 day earlier??

The fine is 500 baht per day. You do not get a grace period but if leaving by air they do not charge the first day of overstay if not more than one day. If you stay two days the fine will be 1,000 baht. I was not aware advance check-in kiosk was possible so can not answer that question.

2 day overstay, means you also have to pay the first day. So it will cost you 1,000 baht.

If you can go through immigration early depends on how soon you can check-in at the kiosk and if you have luggage. Normal check-in starts normally 3 hours before flight.
