New Sky Train Extension On Charan Sanitwong?

Featured Replies

There are major works going on around the Charan Sanitwong 'Saam Yaek Fai Chai' area, I know some of this is for a road tunnel to help cope with the new road that will connect Bangkok Noi with the outskirts of the West of BKK but a little South of Saam Yaek is a project being undertaken by a company called SH-UN and the locals are adamant that this is the sky train coming to them, I've had a little search and the best I can find is this, it doesn't look like it's heading back North of Wongwien Yai, it looks more like it's heading out to Ban Kae, which is where the sky train is reported to be heading some time in the future.

So what is the SH-UN project? Is it the BRT? Does anybody actually know?

While I haven't been in your part of town for some time, I believe you are on an extension of the subway (MRT).

That is the "Blue Line" MRT extension you're talking about near Yake Fai Chai.
