August 27, 201114 yr Hello everyone. I'll be in Bangkok for a few months for university. Apart from going to my classes and the clubs I want to spend my free learning something cool or useful. I'm a male in my early twenties. I weigh 160 pounds and I am in pretty good shape physically, but I have the worst cardio in the world. I'm interested in things that require me to focus and to use my body to a decent degree. Hopefully it should be something that should compliment my gym routine. I thought about taking muay thai classes, but I don't think I'm ready for the difficult learning curve because of my terrible cardio. Can I get any advice for classes like this in Thailand (maybe something similar to Muay Thai)? Either this or please post stories about your experiences learning something useful in Bangkok.
August 27, 201114 yr Maybe spending a lot of time taking bar girls out of the bar?. Should help the cardio!
August 27, 201114 yr Bar girls are good for cardio because you'll be freaking out once she takes all your money. I hate morning afters.
August 29, 201114 yr i hate evening afters, what does cardio mean? Something people that don't go to Thailand get into.
August 29, 201114 yr You say you have "the worst cardio in the world". What does it mean to have bad cardio? Do you have heart problems?
August 29, 201114 yr Why not address you cardio and join a cycling group? 50k will get you a reasonable 2nd hand bike and in 3 months you would lose little value on it. Early morning runs are popular in prep for the regular Rangsit - Bang Pa In runs.
