Hey guys

Need some help.

My current visa is ending next week and i need to do a visa run to get issued with a new stamp on arrival as i need more time in Thailand.

I need to either go out via land and fly back in (to get stamped in for max time again) or equally fly out and in at the lowest cost and fastest turnover time possible. Doining a land boarder crossing for just 15 days will unfortunately not be enough

Can anyone suggest where i would be better flying to? Where would be the cheapest and fastest to quite litteraly fly back to BKK and get stamped in again?

Thanks for all responses in advance!

Air Asia to Phnom Penh would be my guess, but you have left it late so the real discounted fares will not be available. You would need to check out the options to Laos (Vientianne, Savannakhet ?and Pakse?) to be sure. Check Swampy's website for departures then go to the relevant airline sites.

To be really really sure you have got the best deal possible you would need to search an international flight search site like Opodo.com. There might be 'final legs' of a flight from Europe going to PP, Siem Reap, Vientianne, HCM City, Hanoi, KL, Singapore. Occasionally these can pop us as super cheap.

Play with the Air Asia website and test various destinations like Myanmar,Malaysia (Penang),Vietnam,Laos Cambodia

They show return flt to Penang about 5k return, 35 minutes wait and straight back.

Myanmar *rayong" about 4k, 35 minutes wait and back.

Phnom phen 6k

try you dates

Caution!

Those flights that give you a half hour turnround are not usable!

By the time you've gone through Malaysian, or wherever, immigration & customs, check-in for the return flight will have closed. With Low Cost Carriers like Air Asia if you mis your return flight, not only is it inconvenient, it will cost you money to buy a seat on a later flight.

Or don't even get on it at Bangkok.

Just dont get off the plane. :)

That can not be done. Immigration looks to check if u entered another country. IF ur try this ur fuc_ked.

U need a min of 90-120 minutes turn around time for Penang/Sing/PP Note for pp u need pay for a visa where as Penang and Sing no visa

so figure that in ur cost.
