I wonder what Canon will be unveiling in their "historic global announcement"

a mirrorless (hope so) APS-C size or full frame system..? or a new EOS DSLR..?

..also, a new high end compact was announced yesterday.. The Canon Powershot S100 (replacing the S95) - video is

interesting times ahead...

If it's a mirrorless I hope they take it a bit more seriously than Pentax have or Nikon are rumoured to have.

My friend just bought a Mirror-less Nikon from Calumet Photo in Los Angeles. Full size sensor. He works for the studios and said it is an amazing camera. Will post more details as I get them. They are not available as of last week to the general public.

The new mirrorless Nikon, announced last week, has a very small sensor.

yeah saw that & was waiting eagerly for the 'announcement'

what a historic disappointment.. oh well, maybe 2012 for a Canon mirrorless then.. :unsure:
