A taxi from Bkk to Kanchanaburi is around 1500bt but I doubt you will get this price at the airport unless you walk out to the street and wave one down.

I guess around 2500-3500 depending on the size of vehicle you required.

Or go to Victory monument and grab any of the 1000's of vans that go in a 5 hour arc anywhere outside of Bkk for very reasonable prices. It is what the Thais do.

1600 baht , just walk out front door , pink/green taxi as per dispatcher quote, driver only too happy to get out of bkk. river kwai bridge is a help if they want to know where in kcburi you destination, and like any good aussie would do, food and drink for the driver, aussie. aussie. ausssie
