Midrange Hotel In Bangkok With Legitimately Fast Internet?

Featured Replies

Hi, just checked into a hotel near Ploen Chit with super slow, throttled internet. I'm really pissed because I pre-paid 5 nights here! I normally come to Bangkok to take advantage of fast internet and catch up on my tv series through torrent downloads, as well as downloading music. This hotel seems to block everything.

Can anyone recommend a midrange hotel (under or around 1,500 THB), preferably very close to a BTS, with legitimately super fast internet - no blocking, no throttling, etc.?

Thanks a million. Hopefully I can fight Agoda to get out of this 5 day pre-paid thing...

Fighting Agoda it is like winning the lottery.

Sadly the 10 or so hotels I have stayed at in BKK the internet is always same same.

Not sure about torrents. Sit down with your laptop and have a coffee. Get the wifi password and check.

Alternatively very fast wired connection at the Rembrandt on Soi 18 but you have to pay for it. Torrents no problem there.
